Cynthia is an illustrator from South Central LA who specializes in digital and watercolor painting.

Through her work, Cynthia strives to create narratives that center Latinx people of color, highlight the shared experiences of first-generation families in the United States, and celebrate Mexico’s folklore and traditions. She enjoys creating illustrations dedicated to her family’s home state of Michoacán, MX and the shared experiences constructed through food.

 

In addition to her work as an artist, Cynthia works with Self Help Graphics & Art to bridge more opportunities for art education throughout Los Angeles.
